Tel Aviv-Yafo has been a remarkable creation since its very inception. An innovative, leading city that bridges East and West, diasporas and religions. A city founded on a Zionist vision, committed to cultivating a local culture while staying connected to the world and maintaining an ongoing dialogue with it.
In its early years, the city embraced influences from around the globe, weaving them into its vibrant local culture. Simultaneously, Tel Aviv started forging its own identity, shaped by the distinctive fabric of life in Israel and the indomitable spirit of the people who lived, worked, and created within its borders. Innovative thinking has remained a hallmark of Tel Aviv’s identity, reflected in its advancements in technology, education, art, and cuisine.
This innovation approach would not have been possible without Tel Aviv-Yafo being a diverse, pluralistic city that fosters diverse opinions, critical thinking, and openness of mind. This spirit of innovation has been made possible by Tel Aviv-Yafo’s diversity and pluralism, which nurture a culture of varied perspectives, critical thinking, and open-mindedness. This was true in the past, remains true today—despite the challenges our nation faces—and will undoubtedly continue to be true in the future.
Around a decade ago, Mayor Ron Huldai led the establishment of a company with a clear mission: to leverage Tel Aviv Yafo’s vitality in order to connect it with the world and bring the world to it. To fulfill this mission, three key pillars were established: positioning the city as a global hub for innovation and entrepreneurship, promoting it as a premier destination for urban tourism, and elevating it as a globally recognized urban brand.

Most importantly, we want to remind the world that the State of Israel has always been—and remains—a beacon of creativity and innovation, with Tel Aviv-Yafo standing as one of its greatest treasures.
